As Nuffies, we believe in our core that kindness goes far. Regardless if it’s a small act of goodness or it’s giving back in the most epic proportions, kindness will go a long way—so long as our intentions are pure.

That’s why we’re pleased to partner with Globe for their ongoing volunteerism project, Time Please PH. It’s a platform for anyone who wishes to create a volunteer campaign but don’t know how. What’s more, it also gamifies the whole process, making it a perfect activity for friends and family.

For an overview of how Time Please works, check out this article written by our friends at Tech Rejects.

Time Please: Globe’s new project is all about giving back

As part of our partnership with Globe, everyone from the office gathered ’round and pitched in to make boxes filled with school supplies to donate to Aral Pinoy, an NGO initiative that is “dedicated to education for life-giving relationships”.

We were able to collect a total of 53 boxes of school supplies. 33 were from Nuffnang Philippines and 20 were from Globe Telecom.

Last August 6, 2018 (Monday), sir Antonio Ingles, founder of Aral Pinoy picked up the boxes that we filled up last Nuffie Day. Those boxes were also scheduled to be delivered to the kids last August 11 (Saturday).

On behalf of all of us at Nuffnang Philippines, we’d like to take this chance and take Globe for partnering with us on this project.

If you want to make your volunteer campaign happen, Time Please PH is extended until August 31st. We urge you to check out their wonderful platform at:

Nuffnang Philippines is about to have its very first Nuffie Day, a volunteering event in partnership with Globe and Time Please that aims to provide the Aeta community in Rodriguez, Rizal with school supplies and special gifts.

You’re invited to our very first Nuffie Day! On July 27, Nuffnang Philippines will be holding a volunteering event in partnership with Time Please and Globe Telecom that aims to help the Aeta community in Rodriguez, Rizal by providing them with school supplies.

We’re Having a Volunteer Program! Here’s How You Can Join Us

This volunteering idea stems from the Wonder Box program that was launched by Globe. Back in 2017, Wonder Box ( reached out to families encouraging them to fill a box with a few special gifts and school supplies. These boxes would then be given to the children of our fallen soldiers. It was an activity that also inspired families to do a simple volunteering activity together at home with the things that they already had – a shoebox, some pencils, and paper. Volunteerism comes in all shapes and sizes.

For 2018, Time Please has partnered with Aral Pinoy, a non-profit organization based in Manila that frequents Aeta communities in the Philippines. They work closely with the rural poor and regularly reaches out to local communities, their own partner organizations, educational institutions, and local governments (

For this first Nuffie Day, we will be helping Aral Pinoy provide for the Aeta community in Rodriguez, Rizal by repackaging school supplies. Be prepared for a bunch of arts and crafts and an amazing time with your fellow bloggers and the Nuffies!

We know you’re totally up for this so here’s how you can join us:

Come to the Nuffnang Philippines office on July 27, Friday, at 2:00 p.m. with PHP 200 worth of school supplies and an old shoe box (or any kind of box for that matter). You can even bring some art supplies like colored paper, scissors, tape, and markers to help you decorate your Wonder Box.

October 27 was an eventful day for the bloggers who attended Urbanize’s #IAmUrbanBrave Blogger Event held at Melt Grilled Cheesery in UpTown Mall, Bonifacio Global City. It was there that they tested their skills, their team work and as well as their creativity in dealing with tasks that were given to them that day. True to it’s theme: #IAmUrbanBrave, the bloggers got to experience and find out for themselves how they can fare in the challenges of the urban jungle and figure out what kind of Urbanite they really are.

1Urbanize’s Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Mr. Eros Enriquez, started the event with an opening remark and wishing everyone to enjoy the day that they prepared for everybody.2

Hosts Louie Reyes and Geoff Ledesma, got everyone into high spirits during the event.

6Mr. Francis Kong also graced everyone with his presence and his wisdom during the event. It seemed that he was able to fire up everyone just in time for the games that were prepared after his talk!

After the talk, the bloggers—who were already grouped into teams—were given kits for their first activity #ONTHETABLE where they took a flat-lay photo of Urbanize items.

It seemed like the bloggers were in their natural sprit as they laid their things and perfectly executed the flat-lay challenge.

They look so serious!

For the next activity, #INSTADRINK, the teams were tasked to do a drop test of the Hydrapak and take a Boomerang.

#SQUADGOALS was the final activity where the teams had to go to the Urbanize store to choose their favorite item that will help them survive the daily urban grind._MG_0177 The next task was to post a creative group photo of their team on Instagram.

Most organized group for #ONTHETABLE was awarded to Johan Aguilar, Nicole Aguinaldo, Chin Chin Obcena, and J Yap’s team.

The bloggers were very competitive and as a result, the judges’ scores were very close to each other! But ultimately, the team consisting of Ana Gonzales, Jeanne Khe, Joana Zandra Carrasco and Marga Banaga won. Congrats!
